Alwaleed bin Talal Sends Message to Mohammed bin Salman: Acquisition of Al-Hilal

Al-Taj News – Prince Alwaleed bin Talal sent a message to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, announcing the completion of Kingdom Holding Company’s acquisition of a 70% stake in Al-Hilal Club, in partnership with the state, represented by the Public Investment Fund, which holds a 30% stake.

In his message, Alwaleed bin Talal said: “My brother and friend, Prince Mohammed, Crown Prince of our great country.”

He added: “Today at 3:56, we completed the acquisition of 70% of Al-Hilal, with the state, represented by the Public Investment Fund, holding a 30% stake.”

He affirmed his full support for Al-Hilal Club, saying: “We affirm to His Highness that Kingdom Holding Company offers its ‘full’ support, and that your admirer and a patriot, Alwaleed, offers his ‘full and absolute’ support for Al-Hilal’s requirements so that it may raise our flag high.”
